Maintenance Technician The Maintenance Technician is responsible for machine repair and planning projects to ensure safety, quality, and productivity objectives. This role involves equipment and tooling fabrication and related associate training to ensure continuous process improvements. Responsibilities: Perform machine repair and maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance. Plan and execute projects to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals. Fabricate equipment and tooling as needed. Provide training to associates to promote continuous process improvements. Engage in troubleshooting and preventive maintenance of equipment. Utilize knowledge of PLC and electrical troubleshooting for maintenance tasks. Essential Skills: 2-5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting. Expertise in troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, electrical, and mechanical systems. Knowledge of preventative and predictive maintenance strategies. Familiarity with PLC troubleshooting and electrical systems. Additional Skills & Qualifications: Enrollment in a millwright or electrician apprenticeship may be required. A journeyman card or 10+ years of maintenance experience is preferred for highest paid candidates. Knowledge of operator basic care and equipment efficiency metrics. Skills in electrical, mechanical, machine rigging, light fabrication, power transmission, and pneumatics. Working knowledge of engineering drawings, specifications, equipment manuals, and technical documentation. Strong leadership, verbal, written, analytical, mathematical, reasoning, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with PCs, including Microsoft Office, preferred. Experience with PC/PLC control systems is preferred. Working knowledge of paper/nonwovens converting, slitting, winding, filling, packaging, sealing, conveying, and associated equipment is preferred. Job Type & Location: This is a permanent position based out of Sheboygan, WI. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $48.00/hr.
