  • $17.47-$39.60 an hour (depending on experience)
  • Day Shift: 8am-4:30pm Monday to Friday
  • Night Shift: 5pm-3:30am Monday to Thursday (15% pay differential)
  • Weekly Pay, Medical/Vision/Dental
Industrial Electrician Overview

Are you looking to work as an Industrial Electrician with a leading manufacturer of sound attenuated enclosures and fuel tanks for the on-site power generation industry? The Lee Group has the perfect opportunity for you We need Industrial Electricians for a valued company located in Virginia Beach.

Responsibilities of an Electrician:
  • Install new or modified electrical installations consistent with local and national codes
  • Plan electrical installations to minimize waste of materials, provide access for future maintenance, and avoid unsightly, hazardous, and unreliable wiring
  • Follow diagrams, blueprints and interrupt specifications
  • Application and knowledge of journeyman electrician level skills in the installation and repair of electrical systems and associated activities which may include the application of some mechanical knowledge to diagnose repair needs for air-conditioning and refrigeration equipment, or other equipment as necessary
  • Perform any and all work tasks and comply with any work schedules, attendance or duty requirements which may be established by City or Department Rules
  • Perform related work as assigned or specified in project drawings, customer specification or project requirement
  • Manage the cleanliness and organization of the Electrical Shop and main facility
  • Maintain all work sites clean and in order
  • Demonstrate safe work habits and proper care of equipment and tools
  • Work from all types of step ladders, frame ladders and all size extension ladders
  • Adhere to all safe work procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook, Haz-Com Policy, and Lockout/Tag out Policy and Confined Space policy
Qualifications of an Electrician
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Proven experience in electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of local and national electrical codes.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and diagrams.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel to job sites as needed.
  • Commitment to safety and adherence to safety policies and procedure
