* 7am-11pm (Saturday and Sunday)

Pay Details:

$48/hour blended rate

Pay Breakdown:

Weekly travel stipend: $33/hr

Weekly Taxable: $15/hr

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide compassionate patient care, demonstrate clinical expertise, and work collaboratively with the medical team.

Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Monitor and record patient vital signs
- Assist in diagnostic tests and procedures such as gastric lavage and spinal taps
- Provide patient education on health maintenance and disease prevention
- Collaborate with the healthcare team on discharge planning
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Ensure sterile processing techniques are followed for medical equipment
- Perform patient assessments and develop nursing care plans

Experience:
The successful candidate should possess the following skills:
- Proficiency in patient care techniques including vital signs monitoring
- Knowledge of physiology and anatomy to provide effective nursing care
- Experience in ophthalmology procedures is a plus
- Familiarity with coding practices for accurate documentation
- Ability to handle sterile processing of medical instruments
- Previous experience in nursing homes or long-term care facilities is beneficial
