About the Role
The Database Engineer will be responsible for upgrading, installing, and maintaining MongoDB and MongoDB Atlas for an enterprise cloud group within a large healthcare payer company.
They will also be involved in deployments and ensuring the security aspects of the database.





Job Title- Database Engineer


Key Responsibilities
Upgrade, install, and maintain MongoDB and MongoDB Atlas
Understand and implement security measures such as SSL and LDAP
Create clusters from scratch and replicate them
Integrate MongoDB with monitoring tools like Snowflake and Splunk
Work with MongoDB Atlas
Develop automated scripts using Python
Have a strong understanding of Linux servers


Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of experience as a MongoDB admin/manager
Ability to upgrade, install, and maintain MongoDB and MongoDB Atlas
Strong security experience with SSL and LDAP
Ability to create clusters from scratch and replicate them
Understanding of how MongoDB integrates with monitoring tools
Strong experience with MongoDB Atlas
Experience creating automated scripts using Python
Strong understanding of Linux servers

Desired Qualifications
Experience working in a healthcare industry setting
Knowledge of other database systems
Familiarity with cloud technologies



Location- Remote

Position Information

This position is eligible for commissions in accordance with the terms of the Company’s plan. Commissions for this position are estimated to be based on individual performance. Additionally, this role is also eligible for a bonus based on the achievement of mutually agreed KRAs.
