ServiceNow Software Developer - Secret Clearance Required Job Locations: US-DC-Washington Opportunity IMG seeks a ServiceNow Software Developer for a role supporting our customer in Washington, DC. The role is Hybrid, with a minimum of three days a week onsite to start. The job functions are as follows: Review requirements and existing functionality of legacy applications (programmed in Visual Basic for Applications, VB.NET, ColdFusion, DBXL, etc.) as assigned by manager; develop migration plan to recapitalize using the ServiceNow application Platform; upon approval, execute transition and support user acceptance testing Improve existing end user documentation or write new documentation as needed for migrated applications Review DISA requirements for database hardening (STIG/SRG), evaluate current database posture and ServiceNow platform operational requirements, and create a plan to close gaps or document deviations. Qualifications Experience and Skills: Experience in MySQL database operations / management and DISA STIG configurations, preferably within a Linux environment (RedHat Enterprise Linux or equivalent) Experience in JavaScript/ECMAScript, Angular, React, and Bootstrap; experience using these technologies within the ServiceNow application platform is a plus Experience in using C# and Visual Studio Tools for Office to interface with web-based REST APIs Experience in all phases of the software development life-cycle in adherence to buyer-specified development processes and methodologies, to include: requirements development, design, coding, testing, documentation (within the programming environment and for end users), operation, and maintenance. Experience performing the above with limited management oversight, independently and/or as part of a small team Clearance: DOE Q or DoD Top Secret clearance preferred; DOE L or DoD Secret may be considered Education: Bachelors Degree preferred in relevant concentration Years of Experience: Minimum of 5 years' recent experience in a role with similar responsibilities Salary: $110 -160K About IMG Founded in 1987, IMG is a leading small business that exemplifies competence, integrity and follow-through.
