Additional Information

Our Diesel Mechanics generally assist in the repair and diagnosis of major components or remove/replace major components of various truck and trailer equipment.

Expectations of our Diesel Technicians include hard technical experience with the following:

Brakes
Suspensions
Transmissions
Clutches
Reefer Repairs
Strong computer diagnosis
Hydraulics/PTO's
Ability to diagnose and repair heavy truck issues
Welding/fabrication skills

Qualifications for our Diesel Technician positions:

1-3 years Experience in Detroit DD15/60 Series Late Model Freightliners or diesel tech graduate
Vocational/Technical or certification preferred
Proficiency in the use of shop tools required
A valid CDL is preferred
Basic computer skills preferred for data entry into maintenance systems
Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
