The Office of Legal Services (OLS) provides comprehensive legal support and services to DHCS programs and its employees, and counsels and advises the Director and program staff on legal matters affecting DHCS. The OLS Legal and Technical Support Unit provides technical services, including administration of ProLaw, the Department's legal business and case management software; maintenance and oversight of Relativity, which supports document review, and data processing and management; and management of legal support services. Under the direction of the Supervisor I, the Analyst I provides independent analytical, administrative, and legal support to the OLS Branch/Section attorneys and management with a high degree of confidentiality due to the type of legal matters that OLS handles. The Analyst I conducts detailed analytical research pertaining to complex legal assignments, reports, and issues; evaluates administrative and technical processes and provides recommendations; drafts a multitude of documents; and supports case coordination and technical system use in OLS’ platforms such as Relativity and ProLaw.
