Job Title:

Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist - RCIS Description: Norman Regional Health System is seeking a skilled Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist - RCIS to join our team in the Southern border of the Oklahoma City metro area. This individual will play a vital role in our innovative cardiovascular program, working with a team of nine cardiologists and two electrophysiologists. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and maintaining equipment during cardiovascular procedures, ensuring patient care and a sterile environment. Additionally, they will collaborate with cardiologists, serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, and participate in the orientation of new staff. This position requires strong professional working relationships with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care. The ideal candidate will have a 24-month formal program or military program in Radiologic Technology, with eligibility for American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification and/or current Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification. A previous procedural area experience is preferred, along with qualifications in various advanced life support certifications such as Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ACLS). Responsibilities: Prepare and maintain equipment during cardiovascular procedures Evaluate and respond to patient needs during procedures Maintain a sterile environment during procedures Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students Participate in the orientation of new staff Collaborate with cardiologists to ensure excellent patient care Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program Registered as a Radiographer with ARRT or RCIS Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Advanced Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire Compensation: $27.84-$45.46 per hour based on previous work experience Benefits include medical, dental, vision, short-term disability, long-term disability, life insurance, paid time off (PTO), paid holidays, tuition reimbursement, scholarship opportunities, retirement plans, free parking, and opportunities for advancement About Norman Regional Health System: We are a community hospital system nestled at the Southern border of the Oklahoma City metro area.
