The Boardroom - Prep Cook

The Boardroom at Ford Lincoln is searching for an energetic & experienced cook to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a positive attitude and be passionate about working with food & people This role will be working alongside our lead chef & front of house team to assist in providing the best dining experience for our guests. Responsibilities include prepping food, aiding the lead chef and team in completing meals, managing the line in busy meal rush times, and maintaining a safe and efficient environment in our kitchen.

Schedule: Monday - Saturday

Various shifts available between 6:00 am - 9:00 pm

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare & make menu recipes
  • Be detailed in prepping food matching recipe requirements
  • Assist kitchen team in ensuring great presentation of orders
  • Demonstrate proper knife skills and kitchen safety
  • Maintain a clean and sanitized work station
  • Follow health and safety guidelines
  • Wash dishes / equipment as needed
  • Adhere to recipes and presentations for food and beverage items
  • Be punctual and able to observe regular and consistent attendance
  • Contribute to a positive team environment
Requirements:
  • Strong organizational skills and able to multitask
  • Food handler certified
  • TABC certified is a plus
  • Work weekends/evenings
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Background and drug screening


Physical requirements & demands to successfully perform the essential function of the job include: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus.
