Laboratory Services Associate

⏱️ 6-month contract W2 (potential to extend or convert to permanent) Our client is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Laboratory Services Associate to join their growing team in San Diego. This role offers the chance to contribute to meaningful scientific work and support a busy, fast-paced research environment. Key Responsibilities Culture and maintain multiple mammalian cell lines Prepare reagents, manage inventory, and ensure lab readiness Perform potency bioassays and DD-PCR testing Record, interpret, and trend data accurately (JMP experience a plus) Support ongoing projects with occasional weekend work (about once per month) Maintain a clean, safe, and organized lab environment About You Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, or related field (or equivalent hands‑on experience) 0–5 years’ lab experience; ideally 2+ years with mammalian cell culture Strong aseptic technique and familiarity with lab equipment Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills Team player who can also work independently Experience with potency bioassays or immunoassays preferred Why Join Join a collaborative and forward-thinking team where your contributions directly support innovative scientific projects.
