Must haves: BS or Master’s degree in Engineering (Chem E preferred)
3+ years with EHS experience pharmaceutical industry (GMP)
Ok if they come from service side of industry
Knowledge of MSDS
Coordinate with sub-ordinates and consultants
Time Management skills
Ability to work in fast paced environment.
Proficient with MS office, AutoCad desirable
Ability to multitask, escalate issues and maintain timelines.
Responsibilities
The Facilities Engineer must ensure that compliances with safety standards are being followed Must ensure that maintenance and inspections are being performed as per cGMP standard
Perform routine inspections on the utilities and equipment
Monitoring of the BMS system (Building Management System) and coordinate the PM schedule and maintenance activity
Follow safety rules and regulations as per OSHA and other applicable agencies
Ensure proper maintenance of facility equipment / Utilities / Plant
Generate engineering documents for equipment, Facility and utilities and execute the same
Execute on projects and Vendor Development
Assist in improving teamwork efficiency by implementing technically possible corrections
Maintain Documentation as per company's requirement / GMP requirements
Maintain and update the PM Master Schedule list as required
Maintain and coordinate to have the updated floor plans and P&ID of the equipment’s and facility
Monitoring of the BMS system, utility and equipment and maintaining the logbook
Preparing updating the Engineering SOP as required
Support in construction and project related activity
Coordinate with external vendors as required
Performs other functions as required or assigned
Complies with all company policies and standards
Hours 8am-5pm
Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
Travel: a chance to cover 2 NJ sites and 1 Chicago sites (per diem, expenses paid)
Salary: 75K -85K
