Company Description The Ward Law Group (WLG) is one of the largest and fastest-growing personal injury law firms in the United States, serving clients nationwide with a focus on the Hispanic community. Our core values—service to our clients, service to our team, and service to our community—are the foundation of everything we do. We believe success is built on accountability, leadership, and faith, and we are committed to excellence in both results and character. Headquartered in Miami Lakes, with offices in Manhattan and Orlando, WLG is expanding nationally with upcoming locations in New Jersey and Texas. Job Description As we enter our next phase of national expansion, we are seeking a strategic, metrics‑driven Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our financial strategy, optimize performance, and help build a world‑class organization. This executive will partner closely with the CEO and leadership team to bring financial discipline, clarity, and foresight to drive growth to over $100M in annual revenue. The Opportunity This is a key leadership role requiring a CFO who combines precision with vision—someone who can translate strategy into measurable outcomes, create financial systems that scale, and build high‑performing teams. You will serve as a trusted partner to the CEO and executive team, leading all aspects of financial planning, analysis, forecasting, and performance management. Key Responsibilities KPI‑Driven Financial Leadership: develop and execute a data‑driven financial strategy that measures and drives profitability, cash flow, and operational efficiency. Build and own firmwide key performance indicators (KPIs) for revenue, expenses, case value, and return on investment. Create clear financial dashboards and reporting systems that give leadership full visibility into performance across departments. Use analytics to guide decision‑making and ensure every business unit is accountable to measurable results. Financial Strategy & Team Building: design and implement a long‑term financial roadmap aligned with WLG’s growth trajectory and mission. Recruit, mentor, and lead a high‑performing finance team capable of supporting a multi‑entity, high‑growth enterprise. Build a culture of financial discipline, operational excellence, and continuous improvement across departments. Serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO and executive team on scale, capital structure, and sustainable growth priorities. Financial Operations & Risk Management: oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial control processes to ensure accuracy, transparency, and compliance. Strengthen systems for cash management, billing, accounting, and reporting to support rapid expansion. Implement internal controls and audit practices to mitigate risk and safeguard firm assets. Ensure the firm’s financial infrastructure and processes are scalable, automated, and audit‑ready. Mergers, Acquisitions & Investment: identify, evaluate, and structure acquisition and investment opportunities aligned with WLG’s growth strategy. Oversee financial due diligence, integration planning, and post‑acquisition performance to ensure successful expansion. Build models to assess new market entries, partnerships, and capital projects, providing clear ROI and risk analysis. Property & Asset Management: oversee the firm’s real‑estate and asset portfolio, ensuring strategic alignment with growth and operational needs. Negotiate acquisitions, leases, and financing structures to optimize return on investment and cash flow. Manage facilities financials, ensuring cost efficiency, sustainability, and long‑term value creation. Qualifications 15+ years of progressive financial leadership, with at least 5 years in a senior executive role overseeing a finance team of 10+ in an organization of 250+ employees. Proven track record in FP&A with strong KPI design and performance reporting. Demonstrated success building and leading scalable financial teams and systems in high‑growth environments. Strong command of data analytics and business intelligence tools to inform strategic decision‑making. Experience with M&A and real‑estate portfolio management a plus. CPA and/or MBA strongly preferred. Who You Are A metrics‑driven strategist—believe that what gets measured gets improved. A visionary builder—create systems and teams that outlast you. A collaborative leader— inspire confidence and clarity across every level of the organization. A servant‑minded executive—lead with integrity, accountability, and purpose. A coach‑minded operator—grow leaders, not followers, and build cultures of ownership. Why Join Us Partner directly with the CEO and founders to shape WLG’s financial future. Lead transformation through data, analytics, and operational excellence. Build the finance organization of tomorrow in one of the nation’s fastest‑growing law firms. Work within a values‑driven culture built on service, accountability, and faith. Competitive executive compensation, performance‑based bonus structure, and comprehensive benefits. As CFO of WLG, you’ll help shape the systems, people, and financial foundation that will power a firm scaling beyond $100M. You’ll have the autonomy to lead, the partnership to grow, and the platform to make a lasting impact on both the business and the lives it touches.
