Assistant Director – Now Hiring Treasureland Preschool in Denver, Colorado is seeking a part‑time Assistant Director to join our team beginning in Fall 2025. We are a small, collaborative school that celebrates the joy of childhood and the power of learning through purposeful play. We are looking for a talented administrative professional who shares this approach and will strengthen and promote our joyful learning community. Position Details Title: Assistant Director (Part‑Time, Non‑Exempt, 22 hrs/week, Mon–Thu, 8:30 AM–2 PM) Reports to: Director of Treasureland Preschool Degree: Bachelor’s preferred Pay Range: $22–27 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications Benefits: Medical, vision, and dental insurance (employer‑subsidized); retirement contributions; child tuition discount; vacation, sick leave, and paid holidays. Role Highlights Support business administration (compliance reporting, records, payroll, invoicing). Foster a positive, inclusive culture with staff, children, and families. Partner with the Director on registration, enrollment, and family communication. Promote child health by maintaining records, immunizations, and illness tracking. Manage daily operations: staff schedules, attendance, events, classroom support, and safety. Key Qualifications Early Childhood Lead Teacher qualifications (required). Large Child Care Center Director Qualified (required). Strong administrative, organizational, and communication skills. Proficiency with Google Suite; ability to learn new systems (Alliance CORE, Bill.com). Leadership experience in an office, school, or community setting. Lifelong learner with reflective practice and alignment with Treasureland’s mission. Must pass a background check.
