Employment Type:Full timeShift:Description:Job Description* Acts as liaison between the laboratory and the customers served. Manages the phlebotomyfront desk and performs the following duties with accuracy and precision. Accuratelyreceives and processes all laboratory specimens routed through the laboratory fron deskand/or PCN/Outreach/Outpatient area. Ensures appropriateness of each specimen(e.g. propercollection and labeling). Rejuects a specimen not meeting acceptable collectionrequirements.* Acts as liaison between the laboratory and the customers served. Ensures supplies are stocked within acceptable timeframe.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: * High School diploma or equivalent required* To be a graduate of an approved Phlebotomy program and/or have a minimum of one year ofphlebotomy experience in an acute care hospital * To have excellent customer service skills.
