The Restaurant Construction Superintendent will lead and manage the construction of high-end restaurant projects, ensuring quality, safety, and timely completion. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and extensive experience in restaurant construction.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management:

  • Oversee all phases of construction, from pre-construction to final inspections.
  • Coordinate with architects, designers, and project managers to ensure adherence to project specifications.

Team Leadership:

  • Supervise onsite construction crews and subcontractors, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
  • Conduct daily meetings to review project goals, schedules, and safety protocols.

Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure all work meets the high standards required for luxury restaurant builds, including finishes, materials, and craftsmanship.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and compliance with plans and specifications.

Schedule and Budget Management:

  • Develop and maintain project schedules, adjusting as necessary to address delays or changes in scope.
  • Monitor project costs and resource allocation to ensure budget adherence.

Safety Compliance:

  • Implement and enforce safety protocols on-site, ensuring compliance with all local and federal regulations.
  • Conduct safety meetings and training sessions for all team members.

Client and Stakeholder Communication:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status.
  • Address any client concerns or changes in project scope effectively and professionally.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate records of project progress, including daily logs, change orders, and incident reports.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports to management regarding project milestones, budget, and any challenges encountered.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • 2+ years of experience as a construction superintendent, specifically in high-end restaurant or commercial construction.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and codes applicable to luxury projects.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.

  • You have no experience in high end restaurant construction
  • You have not worked as a Superintendent
