CNA Runner

Senior Helpers strives to provide the best combination of quality and value in senior care allowing the elderly to age safely at home and is looking for an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct care to clients. As a member of Senior Helpers, you will be at the forefront of our mission to provide compassionate care and improve the quality of life for our clients, their families and our employees.

This is a full-time position, eligible for overtime, that would help our office provide continuity of care to our clients. The CNA Runner would work closely with our scheduling team to fill last-minute gaps and cover shifts when and where needed. Due to this requirement applicants MUST be available daily from 8AM to 6PM and every other weekend. We provide services in Buncombe, Polk, and Henderson counties and have clients 7 days a week.

• Supply personal companionship, remaining actively engaged with each client and their families, while delivering exceptional care to the client in their home.
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as personal hygiene, mobility assistance, incontinence care,
• Assist with personal care activities to include light housekeeping, feeding, meal preparation, and transportation outside of the client's home.
• Complete and document all daily tasks and report changes in the client's physical condition, mental capability, or behavior in a safe and professional manner.
• Administrative duties in office
• Cover on-call every-other weekend

Compensation:

$18 to $23 per hour depending on experience

Requirements:

• Current CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant)
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation with auto insurance.
• Functioning smart phone (Android, Apple or similar).
• Ability to use technology (email, phone apps, web).
• Open availability for scheduling shifts

Objective:

This position will be 75% in the field providing care to seniors and 25% in the office to assist with administrative tasks.
