The Interior Designer will be responsible for space planning, finish selections, construction drawings, interior design, and FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment).QualificationsSpace Planning, Architecture, and Construction Drawings skillsMinimum of eight (8) years of comparable experience working in a design firmBachelor's degree in interior design or related fieldProficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel. RGA uses BIM and Revit on all projectsAdditional drafting, illustration, and rendering experience is requiredAbility to engage in a collaborative workplace, which may involve working alongside fellow architects and maintaining professional relationships with clientsDesign professional developing skills in independent evaluation, judgement, selection, and adaptation or modification of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria in the construction industryResponsible for specific design tasks requiring research, evaluation, and adaptation on assigned projectsPerform tasks with minimum supervision and capability to create deliverable schedules, coordination with consulting engineers and interior designersBasic Knowledge of interior design and architectural principles, practices and techniques as well as standard operations, policies and procedures of a firm within the A/E industryKnowledge of building materials, construction methods, codes, and regulationsAbility to demonstrate strong organizational and time management skillsAbility to be proactive in determining the necessary steps to meet objectives and performance expectations of positionExcellent communication (verbal & written) and interpersonal skillsTasks outlined, but not limited to those listed:Provide creative interior design solutions for various project conditions by drawing on an expertise built on experience and educationCoordinate project teams of varying sizes and disciplines, effectively leveraging the strengths of the individual team members to guarantee project successResponsible for space planning, test fits, and drawing modifications for assigned projectsCollaborate with project managers to set standards for the future production of all design deliverablesResearch interior products and applies established interior design standards to achieve excellence in all projectsResearch and select colors, finishes, and materialsOrganized documentation of all correspondence with RGA's project team, engineers, and vendorsSupports business development activities through assistance with aids such as finish or mood boards, PowerPoint presentationsMaintains resource materials library including, interior design specifications, calculations, and industry standards.Manage and participate in all phases of projects including schematic design, design development, construction documents, technical specifications, bidding and negotiation, permitting, quality control, value engineering, and coordination of engineering disciplinesResearch and select colors, finishes, and materials and FF&E items such as furniture, artwork, and signage. #J-18808-Ljbffr
