GENERAL DESCRIPTION: An assembler is responsible for putting together parts or pieces following a set of blueprints or schematics. The assembler is also responsible for verifying correct quantities of components parts and checking completed items for quality, and may also be responsible for managing parts inventory.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: This position performs a variety of tasks within the Program Center; electronic components, software, EPROM chips, and programming/testing circuit boards, packing, and assembling of kits. This position requires strong knowledge of reading part specifications, documentation, assembly drawings and procedures. Must be able to inspect your own work orders to ensure that quality standards are maintained. Working daily on focus job moves, scanning/tracking customer orders and pulling customer order picks.Essential Duties and Responsibilities -25% Processing customer software/testing, processing EPROM chips/testing programming/testing circuit boards, scanning/tracking parts and packing electronic components.20% Must be able to read part specifications, documentation, assembly drawings and procedures.20% Responsible for job moves, stocking, and pulling customer order picks.10% Responsible for inspecting your work to ensure that quality standards are maintained.10% Re-boxing/re-labeling electronic components.10% Responsible for assembling of kits.5% Performs other job duties as assigned.

Work Environment and Physical Demands
General Work Environment: General warehouse work environment.
Noise: Moderate noise level.
Standing/Lifting: 15% sitting processing customer work orders, 85 % standing. Required lifting 45 to 50 pounds.
Visual: Good or correctable vision
Stress: Some stress may occur during end of quarter, end of half and fiscal year end
Travel: None required

Skill/Experience/Education:
Mandatory:
1-2 years of electrical assembly of products or unit.
Desired Skills:
SAP Knowledge and troubleshooting electrical finished goods products
