Quality Control Inspector

Our client, a manufacturing industry leader, is seeking a dedicated Quality Control Inspector to join their team. As a Quality Control Inspector, you will be an integral part of the Quality Department supporting production and quality assurance teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization. Job Title: Quality Control Inspector Location: Orchard Park, NY - On Site Pay Range: $21/hour Shift: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, Monday - Friday What's the Job? Develop and direct testing procedures to ensure product quality. Perform inspections at various stages of manufacturing, including receipt of raw materials, in-process, and final inspection. Calibrate measuring and test equipment according to schedule and maintain calibration records. Verify dimensional conformance using inspection tools and create documentation as needed. Collaborate with Quality and Engineering teams to improve quality procedures and processes. What's Needed? High School Diploma or GED required. Experience in quality control systems or manufacturing environment preferred. Proficiency in reading mechanical drawings, Microsoft Office, and Epicor. Ability to develop and execute product quality tests. Weld inspection experience and certifications such as ASQ or technical certifications are a plus. What's in it for me?
