The HR Director acts as employee champion and change agent to drive engagement and partners/collaborates with the HR COE functions to deliver value added service to the business unit. The HR Director is knowledgeable about the business financial position, its short- mid- & long-range plans, its culture and its competition and aligns HR strategies to meet business needs.QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS – EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:10-15 years human resources experience, including at least 5 at a management level or aboveOr equivalent combination of education and experienceHR Certification (PHR, SPHR) preferredExperience working in matrix environmentWorking knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including employee relations, training and development, recognition and rewards, compensation, performance management, collective bargaining.Previous leadership experience supporting multi-site remote field locationsAbility to travel across the U.S. as neededQUALIFICATIONS - TECHNICAL SKILLS:Effectively develop and implement new strategies to address competitive, complex business issuesAbility to develop strong trusting relationships – up, down and across the organization – in order to gain support and achieve results.Financial knowledge (business acumen), consulting skills, leadership skills, collaborative, multi-tasking, problem solving and analytical skillsExcellent client management skills and strong conflict management, interpersonal and negotiation skillsIndependent and a self-motivator with a strong sense of urgencyExceptional verbal and written communication skillsExperience with automated HRIS systems (i.e. SAP)Additional InformationNo Discrimination.
