Job Summary:
The Technologist Trainee will perform complex medical laboratory tests for diagnosing, treating, and preventing diseases. The role involves analyzing laboratory findings, identifying microbial organisms, and maintaining lab equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze laboratory findings for accuracy and ensure precision in test results.
- Analyze samples of biological materials and perform tests on microbial organisms.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain lab equipment, including spectrophotometers and analyzers.
- Enter medical test data and clinical results into computer systems for storage.
- Cultivate and isolate microbial organisms, assisting in identification.
- Monitor clinical trials and assist in pharmaceutical research as needed.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Associate's degree in medical technology or a related field required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or a related field preferred.
- Experience:
- 0-2 years of experience in medical laboratory technology.
- Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
- Basic knowledge of diagnostic techniques and Good Clinical Practice standards.

- Location: Burlington, NC 27215
- Job Type: 26 Weeks (Temp-to-hire)
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Flexible schedule options available)
- Pay Range: $22 - $26/Hour
*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
