Plumbing Operations Manager Management

$80,000 to $100,000 base plus ability to earn up to 50% of annual salary as bonus

Applewood Plumbing Heating & Electric is currently looking for the right Plumbing Operations Manager to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a team leader with at least 5 years of management experience to have a direct impact on all aspects of service at a customer-focused, private organization. We are also looking for someone with direct Plumbing, HVAC, or Electrical experience.

Responsibilities:

Plan, direct and control all phases of the service department

Directly supervise a team of Plumbers, HVAC Technicians, and Electricians

Direct daily operations to meet or exceed target labor expense and gross profit goals

Develop and implement normal operating policies

Participate in budget planning and meeting preparation

Ensure timely completion of repairs by technicians and maximum efficiency in scheduling work

Thoroughness in billing for all parts and materials

Become familiar with general terms in all contracts and bids and perform quality control

Hold meetings with department employees and provide training where necessary

Ensure licensing and certification requirements for technicians are met

Manages safety policies in the workplace

Maintain open communications throughout department

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of recent management experience

Industry experience in Plumbing, HVAC, or Electrical required

Plumbing, HVAC, or Electrical license or certification preferred

Advanced computer skills

Highly organized

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Training and/or teaching experience a plus

Must be able to pass a credit check and drug screen

Schedule for this position will be 4-10 hour days, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday
