Maintenance Planner Apply for the role within Par Pacific Holdings, Inc. This position is located in Tacoma, WA 98421. Key Responsibilities Assist the refinery in maximizing and achieving effective maintenance performance through systematic planning. Responsible for daily, weekly, and long‑term maintenance planning, including developing job scopes. Work cross‑functions with Maintenance Supervisors, Schedulers, and other departments. Provide exemplary customer service to internal clients. Assign codes to work orders. Conduct field inspections to determine appropriate job scopes. Coordinate planning of maintenance work among contractors and USOR Manufacturing Departments. Develop work plans with information for efficient scheduling, assignment, and execution. Create and maintain plant history files to anticipate and avoid delays. Coordinate parts kitting and purchasing materials as required. Develop and evaluate feedback for continuous improvement of maintenance jobs. Prepare KPI reports. Work with the Maintenance Scheduler to ensure necessary information for weekly schedule. Stay familiar with current safety rules and regulations. Support CMMS use, completing work orders and KPI monitoring. Verify contractor planners' work orders meet U.S. Oil standards. Resolve issues on work orders involving company personnel. Learn the scheduler role to act as temporary scheduler when needed. Assume temporary Maintenance Supervisor duties for vacation relief or development. Assist in planning small unit SD’s with the Tech Support Team. Utilize data, gap analysis, and cross‑departmental feedback to drive continuous improvement. Communicate status of each work order to maintenance supervisors and Operations. Provide leadership and coordinate daily maintenance planning between Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and Projects groups. Perform functional and safety field audits of scheduled work; report results to supervisor. Qualifications Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship. Eligible to obtain a TWIC card (Transportation Worker Identification Credential). Additional Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. 5+ years of maintenance experience in an industrial setting. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Good organizational skills and teamwork. Experience with scheduling software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project). Preferred. Experience with CMMS (Maximo/SAP). Preferred. Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and proactive mindset. Independent goal achievement; team player. Continuous improvement orientation. Strong work ethic and accountability.
