OverviewAtrium Health Levine Children’s is seeking a Division Chief for Pediatric Endocrinology. The Pediatric Endocrinology Division is a group of 7 physicians and 1 APP that serve 2 children’s hospitals and 4 outpatient locations. The Division Chief will be based at Levine Children’s in Charlotte.Multidisciplinary care is provided for conditions such as Diabetes (Type 1 and 2), Metabolic Disorders, Thyroid Diseases, Abnormal Puberty, Adrenal Conditions, Pituitary Disorders, Growth Disorders, Cystic Fibrosis, and Hormone-Secreting Tumors. Ancillary support includes social work, dieticians, and educators as a complement to the care team.About Levine Children’sAt 236 beds, Atrium Health Levine Children’s Hospital (LCH) is the largest children’s hospital between Atlanta and Washington DC. It serves high patient acuity as the flagship children’s hospital within the innovative Atrium Health and offers a full complement of over 150 pediatric subspecialists in over 30 different pediatric specialties. LCH has repeatedly been ranked among the Best Children’s Hospitals in the nation by US News & World Report,most recently in eight pediatric specialties for 2023-2024.Levine Children’s hosts a well-regarded Pediatric Residency Program, serves as a teaching hospital for students at the Wake Forest University School of Medicine.Atrium Health, now a part of Advocate Health, broke ground on a second school of medicine campus- Wake Forest University School of Medicine Charlotte – currently under construction in the heart of a new, life-sciences research-driven innovation district, named “The Pearl”.
