Our Host/To Geaux positions give team members an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented, gameday atmosphere taking care of our guests.

Host/To Geaux opportunities are part-time. Flexible hours and schedules are available, which is great for the busy student or anyone who has outside obligations. Room for advancement on the team is always possible for the right team member

Job Duties
  • Greet and seat guests with great service and a winning personality
  • Hold the door open for all guests entering and exiting the building
  • Manage wait with keeping every guest mentality quoting accurate waits to guests
  • Rolling silverware
  • Communicate flow of business and number of guests sitting and waiting to managers and servers
  • Clean restaurant including the front entrance, parking lot, and all hostess/to-geaux areas
  • Smile through the phone when helping guests
  • Be knowledgeable about the menu offerings and how to take orders
  • Greet cars pulling into designated To-Geaux parking spots in under 30 seconds
  • Package orders with quality, accuracy, and timeliness in mind
  • Provide a complimentary beverage to any guests who may wait for their order for any reason
  • Be a team player with other hostesses or To-geaux personnel and all other departments
  • Follow cleanliness and sanitation standards
  • Assist servers in giving outstanding service to our guests
  • Any other duties as assigned by your supervisor
Requirements

Requirements/Responsibilities
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand for 10+ hours
  • Ability to work at a fast pace for at least 6 hours consecutively
  • Ability to adhere to uniform guidelines
  • Have a reliable form of transportation
  • Ability to memorize floor charts and table numbers
