About The RoleAs a CBRE Facilities Manager, you will manage a team responsible for overseeing building operations and maintenance for a facility, campus, or portfolio of small to medium‑sized buildings.This job is part of the Facilities Management functional area which focuses on all aspects of the operations of a set of assets, providing support to Property Managers regarding all repairs and investment plans.LocationStamford, CT, United States.What You’ll DoSupport 83 sites in CT/NY Hudson Valley/Westchester.Work remotely using a personal vehicle with mileage reimbursement.Have knowledge of all building systems; no technical work will be performed.Utilize MS Office.Use Corrigo (helpful but not required).Be highly organized, dedicated, and professional.Operate in 38 buildings.Learn quickly.Engage in client‑facing meetings with bank executives.Exhibit strong soft skills for client engagement.Coordinate and manage facility repairs and maintenance by working with technicians, vendors, and contractors.Maintain positive client relationships and conduct meetings on unresolved facility issues.Prepare and manage capital projects, operating budgets, and variance reports.Perform facility inspections and quality assurance following local, state, and federal regulations; suggest operational efficiencies, repairs, and upgrade opportunities.Manage environmental health and safety procedures for facilities.Oversee vendor relationships and invoicing procedures; review price quotes for procurement of parts, services, and labor for projects.Conduct process and procedure training on maintenance, repairs, and safety best practices.Lead by example and model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values; influence parties of shared interest to reach an agreement.Apply knowledge of your discipline and integrate it with others to achieve team and departmental objectives.Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day‑to‑day and moderately complex issues which may or may not be evident in existing systems and processes.What You’ll NeedPersonal vehicle and valid driver license.Knowledge of all building systems, though no direct work will be performed.Accounting and financial background strongly preferred.White‑glove service mentality, as the client is high touch, high demand, and high visibility.Strong soft skills when managing janitorial, landscaping, cleaning, and cafeteria services and engaging with bank executives.Project Management or Facilities Management background required.Prefer someone with a strong maintenance background as well as soft skills.Ability to learn new databases quickly with an aptitude for learning proprietary databases. Bachelor’s Degree preferred with 5 years of relevant experience; in lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Facility Management certification preferred. Valid driver’s license required.Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred.Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations, and handle problems.Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department.Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.Advanced math skills; ability to calculate difficult figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial‑related calculations.Why CBRE?When you join CBRE, you become part of the global leader in commercial real‑estate services and investment that helps businesses and people thrive.
