As a Cook in our facility, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being and satisfaction of our residents by providing delicious, nutritious meals. Your responsibilities will include:
Meal Preparation: Plan, prepare, and cook meals according to established menus, taking into consideration any dietary restrictions or special requirements of residents.
Menu Planning: Collaborate with the dietary team to create menus that meet the nutritional needs and preferences of residents, ensuring variety and balance in meal offerings.
Food Safety: Adhere to strict food safety and sanitation standards at all times, including proper storage, handling, and cooking techniques to prevent foodborne illnesses.
Dietary Accommodations: Accommodate special dietary needs, such as low-sodium, diabetic, or pureed diets, ensuring that all meals meet the prescribed guidelines and are appealing to residents.
Inventory Management: Maintain inventory of food supplies and ingredients, monitoring stock levels, and placing orders as needed to ensure availability of necessary items for meal preparation.
