Some managers also lead Departments, managing assigned Systems such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management, setting goals, delegating tasks, following up, and reporting results. The Guest Service Department Manager ensures Crew and Managers deliver a great customer experience, execute sales promotions, train staff, and keep front counter, McCafé, and Drive‑Thru areas organized. The Kitchen Department Manager ensures food quality, speed, safety, cost control, and training of kitchen staff. The People Department Manager handles hiring, training, scheduling, and crew motivation. Previous managerial experience is preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail or hospitality environment.
