Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Director of Nursing to lead and support clinical operations.
  • Serve as the acting Director of Nursing in their absence.
  • Cultivate a safe, high-performing work environment dedicated to quality resident care.
  • Supervise and mentor nursing staff, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Lead weekly wound rounds and support compliance during facility surveys.
  • Act as a vital link between nursing staff, management, residents, and families.
  • Drive engagement and professional development within the nursing team.

Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing in New Jersey.
  • Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Proven experience in long-term care is a must.
  • Strong decision-making, multitasking, and problem-solving skills under pressure.
