In this role you will be responsible for the assembly of pumps and other components produced at the Columbia Pump Assembly Production facility. Ensures all pump assemblies and components are completed and shipped to meet the specifications and delivery requirements of our customers.This position is mainly located in Columbia, (SC). Team you belong toYou will join a team of Assembly experts, that thrive on collaboration and innovation.What you'll do•Responsible for the complete assembly of pumps and components in compliance with customer and order requirements.•Consults with Production Manager or Assembly Lead man to resolve any production issues discovered during assembly of pumps.•All work must be accomplished within quality and time/cost standard requirements established by the order and the company. •The incumbent is responsible for ensuring that all work is performed to the highest level of quality and safety. •Position is also responsible for testing, tagging, packing, crating and loading of product as required by the order and company procedure.•Assists with other production warehouse functions such as pulling, picking, shipping and receiving of parts and components as directed by production manager.•Travel (both domestic and international) may be required as needed.•Performs other miscellaneous duties and/or other special projects as required.Who you are•High school education or equivalent required.•Requires the ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.•Must have the knowledge and ability to operate overhead and jib cranes safely.•Must hold a valid state issued driver's license for company forklift operation. •Must have a high mechanical aptitude.•This position requires the ability to work in a very physically demanding environment.
