Cardiac Sonographer Per Diem

Job Overview:
*MUST HAVE ECHO EXPERIENCE *We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Adult Cardiac/Vascular Sonographer and/or PEDS Cardiac/Vascular Sonographer for per diem in the Orlando area. As a Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing ultrasound examinations on patients and producing high-quality diagnostic images. This is a flexible position with competitive pay and benefits.

Responsibilities:

*MUST HAVE ECHO AND VASCULAR SONOGRAPHY EXPERIENCE*
- Perform ultrasound examinations on patients using specialized equipment
- Prepare patients for procedures and explain the process to them
- Position patients correctly to obtain the best possible images
- Adjust equipment settings to optimize image quality
- Analyze images and provide preliminary findings to physicians
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment

Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
- Current certification as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or equivalent
- Proficient in performing cardiac and vascular exams.
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to ultrasound imaging
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately interpret images
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
