SDH Studio is seeking a passionate Lead Interior Designer to join our amazing team. As a participant in our uniquely collaborative design process, you will work hand in hand with colleagues across disciplines on a wide variety of projects.


Interior Designer Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Interior Design or Architecture required

• Minimum of 5 years of experience with significant experience in high-end, conceptually driven residential interior design.


Qualifications

• Proficiency in Revit, SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite

• Enthusiastic commitment to the multidisciplinary design process and team environment

• Highly experienced in furniture selection, built-in designs, and bidding and purchasing.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Curious and open-minded to learn and assume increased responsibilities

• Committed to building a long-term professional career

• Bilingual (English and Spanish)


Responsibilities are, but are not limited to:

• As part of the team, prepare complete designs to meet the client's program, quality objectives, project constraints, and SDH’s brand of design, with very limited supervision required.

• Tasks may include, but are not limited to developing designs, delivering presentations, 3D modeling, elevation renderings, mood board creation, Revit drawings, image research, materials sourcing, and bidding and purchasing.

• Reviewing documents to ensure they incorporate the design intent.

• Represent SDH and the design in consultant coordination and vendor liaison meetings.

• Responsible for managing, coordinating, creating, and delivering presentations and documentation packages based on SDH’s deliverables standards for presentations and contract documents.

• Responding to RFI’s and interpreting the contract documents to meet the design intent.

• Review submittals, substitutions, and field conditions for conformance with the design intent.

• Attending and reporting on field visits.

• Resolving problems and issues that arise during construction.
