We are looking for a dedicated Senior Clinical Analyst like you to be a part of our team. Job Summary And Qualifications The Digital Transformation & Innovation (DT&I) team is responsible for HCA’s clinical and quality agenda. The EHR Optimization (EHRO) team, which is a part of DT&I, manages and optimizes the use and standard content of the enterprise EHRs and informatics platforms across multiple vendors and versions such as Meditech Expanse, Epic, and Cerner, to name a few. The EHRO team is responsible for the compliant, optimized, and efficient use of informatics solutions across all acute care and post‑acute care facilities. The Senior Clinical Analyst is responsible for driving the evaluation and implementation of changes that address standardization and optimization of the clinician experience with the EHR technologies. The Senior Clinical Analyst works as a member of a team to support the enterprise standardization of EHR documentation across all disciplines to ensure that clinical and workflow needs are met, and all regulatory and enterprise corporate initiatives are appropriately considered in the design for all applicable EHR platforms (Meditech Expanse, Cerner, EPIC, and other ancillary clinical applications.) Major Responsibilities Evaluate EHR changes to assess root cause in terms of process gaps, technology limitations, training/education needs, leveraging SME interviews, utilization data, technical feedback, and other evaluation techniques. Support the preparation of informatics materials to collaborate with corporate service line leaders, enterprise advisory boards, division and facility leaders, and end user representatives to define informatics solutions that address the need of clinicians. Collect information on current state workflow, end user experience, and associated corporate guidance to inform prioritization of requests for changes to clinical documentation within the EHR. Collaborate with Information Technology and Services (IT&S), delivering requirements to support ongoing maintenance and optimization of enterprise standard content. Obtain end user feedback and identify opportunities for continued improvement in standard content and applied use of the EHR platforms. Continue to build and expand understanding of EHR workflow functions to guide informatics solution requirements and design to achieve project objectives. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required 3+ years of clinical experience as a nurse required Hospital Experience required Emergency Department experience preferred Experience with EHRs such as Meditech, EPIC, and/or Cerner preferred Work Location/Schedule Nashville, TN (near Centennial Park) Hybrid – 3 days/week in the office Occasional travel to support evaluation of workflows, approximately two to three trips annually. “Good people beget good people.” – Dr. Thomas Frist, Sr. We are a family of 270,000 dedicated professionals.
