POSITION SUMMARY
As a Construction Laborer, you'll play an essential role in our post-print construction projects, supporting the team with tasks that span a range of general labor and construction skills. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Working knowledge of general labor skills
  • Assist in various construction tasks, including general labor and more advanced work as needed
  • Support experienced workers, team leads, and the site supervisor with daily activities
  • Operate tools and machinery safely and effectively
  • Adhere to and enforce safety protocols on site
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve construction challenges
  • Help maintain project timelines by contributing to efficient construction processes
  • Document construction progress, including photos and notes
  • Adapt to evolving construction technologies, practices, and project requirements
  • Continuously improve skills through on-the-job learning and training
  • Comfortable with reading and interpreting blueprints and drawings

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education
    • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience
    • 1-3 years of hands-on experience in construction or a related field
  • Skills
    • Ability to follow instructions and work both collaboratively and independently in a team environment
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Competent with basic technology or willing to learn
    • Willingness to adapt to new technologies and construction methods
    • Flexibility to evolve in a startup environment
    • Comprehensive background and proficiency in various construction tasks, with a focus on carpentry and finish carpentry
    • Experience with masonry, concrete, roofing, and tiling
