Job Description Own end-to-end solution architecture for member portals and web and mobile apps, ensuring scalable, resilient, and secure designs across APIs, UI, data, and integrations. Translate business goals into clear architecture, roadmaps, and non‑functional requirements; communicate effectively with engineers and stakeholders. Lead architecture for AI/LLM‑powered member experiences using Azure AI Foundry, Azure AI Agent Service, Azure AI Search (hybrid/vector), and robust prompt/tooling patterns. Design and govern APIs (REST/GraphQL), integrations, and event‑driven patterns across Azure (APIM, Functions, App Services/AKS, Service Bus/Event Grid, storage, databases). Implement secure identity and access patterns leveraging OAuth2/OIDC and enterprise IDPs; ensure strong PHI/PII and HIPAA‑aligned controls and zero‑trust principles. Champion observability (logging, tracing, metrics, dashboards) and reliability (SLIs/SLOs, resilience patterns) across digital solutions. Mentor teams, drive standards, perform design/code reviews, and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and interoperability patterns. Pay rate between $50–85/hr based on experience. Skills and Requirements 7+ years of experience as a solution architect working with mobile or web applications. Proven experience architecting large‑scale, API‑driven React/TypeScript web apps and mobile experiences in a cloud environment (Azure preferred). Strong background in health plan or healthcare domains (eligibility, claims, benefits, authorizations) and familiarity with FHIR/HL7 and payer interoperability. Expertise in Azure services, modern security practices, and integration patterns. Practical experience with LLMs, chatbots, retrieval, and safety/guardrail design is strongly preferred.
