FTIS is a $90B+ investment manager, and this investment platform will become the backbone of our end-to-end multi-asset portfolio construction process.This is a front-office role with a highly visible mandate: to embed our investment philosophy into a scalable, transparent, and flexible system used by all FTIS portfolios. You will work in close partnership with Portfolio Managers, Quant Researchers, and Technologists to design and implement a modern platform that directly supports investment decision-making.This is mission-critical, high-impact, and a top strategic priority for FTIS. **The successful candidate** will blend technical leadership with a **deep understanding of investment workflows** and will play a central role in ensuring the platform powers the firm’s **investment process** for years to come.# **Key Responsibilities:*** Lead the development of the investment engine, the core platform enabling portfolio construction at FTIS.* Collaborate with quantitative investment staff to ensure that investment processes and quantitative models are translated into robust, scalable systems.* Gather complex requirements from the investment team and distill them into elegant and approachable designs.* Educate and mentor professionals across FTIS, promoting best practices and adoption of the platform.# **Qualifications and Key Requirements:*** **Minimum 5 years of experience in a technical role** within a **quantitative finance** or **investment management** environment. + Proven track record as a **Quantitative Researcher**, **Developer, or Analyst**, ideally within a **buy-side asset management firm**. + Deep understanding of systematic **investment strategies**, **quantitative portfolio construction**, and **alpha research**.* ***Technical Expertise*** + Strong programming skills in **Python (required)** + Experience designing, **building, and maintaining critical production systems used in investment decision-making or portfolio management.** + Proficiency in working with large-scale financial datasets, time series analysis, and statistical modeling.* ***Domain Knowledge*** + Solid grasp of financial markets, risk modeling, and portfolio optimization techniques. + Familiarity with backtesting frameworks, data pipelines, and performance attribution tools.* ***Collaboration & Communication*** + Ability to work closely with portfolio managers, researchers, and data engineers to translate investment ideas into scalable solutions. + Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex quantitative concepts to non-technical stakeholders.**When applying**, please be sure to **attach your resume / CV**.
