Senior Consultant

Core Duties and Responsibilities: Contribute to business development by leading proposal creation and securing new projects. Manage small multidisciplinary teams, providing clear direction and ensuring deliverables are completed on time and to a high standard. Deliver high-quality outputs with minimal supervision, using both client and company methodologies and standards. Share technical expertise with team members and provide oversight on project work to maintain quality. Build and maintain strong client relationships and collaborate with internal consulting teams across departments. Represent the Carbon Advisory team in client and stakeholder presentations. Serve as the main technical point of contact for clients, identifying their needs and offering proactive solutions. Stay informed about market developments, industry innovations, and climate-related policy changes. Collaborate with other Environmental Technology (ET) Hub teams (e.g., CCS, hydrogen, renewables) to deliver integrated solutions. Develop tools and methods that improve efficiency and output quality across the team. Assist the Business Manager with tracking project progress and coordinating activities. Qualifications Required Skills and Qualifications: Master’s degree (or higher) in Process Engineering, Environmental Science, Sustainable Development, or related technical fields. Proven ability to lead project teams and contribute to business development. Expertise in global standards for energy efficiency and carbon management. Deep understanding of climate change policies, economics, and international frameworks. Strong knowledge of emissions measurement, decarbonization strategies, and energy transitions, especially in the Middle East. Analytical mindset with the ability to break down complex issues and prioritize key areas. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to produce high-quality reports and presentations. Strong project management and organizational abilities. Passion for continuous learning and knowledge sharing. Desirable: Background in decarbonization projects or life cycle assessment. Experience mapping energy consumption and carbon emissions for clients. Familiarity with screening and implementing emissions reduction strategies. Chartered status with a recognized professional institution (or working towards it). Strong negotiation skills. Proficiency in Arabic is an added advantage. #J-18808-Ljbffr
