Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Progressive Care Nurse to join our healthcare team. As a Progressive Care Nurse, you will provide specialized nursing care to patients who require continuous monitoring and advanced medical interventions. Your expertise and dedication will contribute to the overall well-being and recovery of our patients.

Pay Details

36 Hrs./Wk.= $2242 Per week

Blended Pay = $62.28/hr.

Weekly Taxable: $1080 Per week

weekly Travel stipend :$1162Per week

OT Rate:$77.28/hr.

Responsibilities:

Shift: Nights 7pm-7am

36 hours week 3x12 Hour

13 week contract

12 Hours a day

Requirements:

Recent (in the past 2 years) acute care hospital experience - REQUIRED

2 years experience of intermediate/progressive care experience - REQUIRED

Facility would consider a candidate with PCU/IMCU/Telemetry/Stepdown experience

Certifications don’t need to be active at time of submission but must be willing to obtain

OR license don’t need to be active at time of submission but must be willing to obtain

Responsibilities:
- Monitor and assess patients' conditions, including vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and oxygen levels
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Perform advanced nursing procedures such as IV insertion, medication administration, and ventilator management
- Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment plans, and post-discharge care
- Ensure accurate documentation of patient information, including medical history, progress notes, and treatment records
- Respond promptly to emergencies and provide appropriate interventions
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care across different settings (e.g., hospitals, nursing homes, home care)
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in progressive care nursing through continuing education and professional development opportunities

Qualifications:
- Valid nursing license in [state]
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Minimum [X] years of experience as a registered nurse in a progressive care or similar setting
- Proficient in performing advanced nursing procedures such as IV insertion, medication administration, and ventilator management
- Strong knowledge of cardiac monitoring and interpretation of EKG rhythms
- Excellent critical thinking skills and ability to make sound decisions under pressure
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team
- Ability to provide compassionate care while maintaining professionalism and boundaries
