We are working with a respected and established law firm in Orange County, California seeking a Litigation Attorney with a minimum of 8 years of litigation experience to build a long-term career with a collaborative and high-performing group.About the Role:The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience handling construction litigation, surety claims, and related disputes. You should be confident in managing cases from inception through resolution, including depositions, court appearances, legal research, motion practice, and client communication.Key Responsibilities:Represent clients in defense litigation and surety mattersDraft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and legal briefsAttend court hearings, mediations, depositions, and arbitrationsWork closely with partners and clients to develop and execute litigation strategyConduct investigations and analyze construction contracts and surety bondsQualifications:J.D. from an accredited law schoolLicensed and in good standing with the California State BarMinimum 8 years of litigation experience, with preference for construction or surety workStrong writing, communication, and organizational skillsWillingness to work in the office five days a weekWhy Apply?Join a well-established, reputable firm with deep roots in the construction and surety sectorsWork on high-quality, complex matters with room to grow professionallyCompetitive compensation and benefits packageThe annual salary for this position is between $180,000 - $300,000.
