Location: - Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) - Pasadena, CAOur innovative and growing company is hiring for a floor tech. Please review the list of responsibilities and qualifications. While this is our ideal list, we will consider candidates that do not necessarily have all of the qualifications but have sufficient experience and talent.Responsibilities for floor techDamp dusts all surfaces using an approved germicidal detergent mixed in 5 qtWhen cleaning areas or departments with highly-technical equipment, takes care not to damage equipment by over-wetting when damp dustingCleans all rest rooms in assigned areas as outlined in the training manualCleans offices and ancillary areas according to procedures outlined in the training manualRepositions furniture and equipment after room cleaning, turns off lights and closes and locks doorsCleans corridors following departmental procedures and takes extra care to prevent safety hazards to persons using corridorMaintains supply cart with necessary equipment and supplies to avoid need to restock during mid-shiftStores equipment properly when on break, at meal or in meetingReports any damage to cleaning equipment to supervisor or department head immediately and takes equipment out of service by placing an out of order tag on itCorrectly cleans all equipment at start and end of each shiftQualifications for floor techStores and organizes equipment at end of shift in designated hospital areasSpot cleans carpetsCompleted work is neat, accurate, thorough mop buckets emptied and cleaned outCleans and stores equipment properly after each usePerforms other job duties as assigned by supervisorHave 30-90 days essential job experience* Must be US Citizen or Permanent Legal Resident* POSITION REQUIRES STRONG CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECKSCHEDULE - Mon - Fri (4:00 pm - 12:30am)Pay $22.60+ per hour. 8 paid holidays.Floor Tech Experience is requiredJob Type: Full-timePay: $22.60 per hourSchedule:Monday to Friday JOB CODE: 1000144
