Industrial Electrician Journeyman - Remote

Overview:

The USG Construction team has an opening for 6 Electricians. We are currently hiring for various projects in the US area. We are looking for Construction Electricians that are interested in traveling to USG facilities as needed to complete capital projects. New hires are eligible for a daily per diem to cover living expenses while assigned to a project. We need team oriented, experienced Electricians interested in working for an industry leader.

Qualifications:

· Safety Functions: Must know, understand, and abide by all safety rules, standards, and practices.

· Able to perform the essential physical requirements necessary for this skill or job area.

· Responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly work area and complying with all housekeeping directives.

· Able to operate in a safe manner during normal and upset operational situations. Quality Functions

· Recognize and report areas of equipment malfunctions.

· Communicate any malfunctions to proper supervisory personnel or higher skilled craftsmen.

Operating Functions:

· Must possess 24 - 36 months of verifiable experience in the trade through field experience, apprenticeship programs, trade school certifications, or on-the-job training in some combination.

· Able to satisfactorily plan and install conduit and wiring for all required runs.

· Capable of reading and understanding advanced electrical construction drawings and schematics.

· Demonstrate the ability to accomplish basic wiring duties including material planning, layout, terminations, and post run analysis.

· Possess the minimum tools required as defined in the Construction Services Required Tool List.

Teamwork/Administrative Functions:

· Demonstrate the ability to cooperate with coworkers in all areas.

· Understands the importance of completing assigned tasks in a safe and efficient manner and their relationship to the success of the overall project.

· Maintain regular and predictable attendance.

· Able and willing to work assigned overtime as necessary.

· Perform other job duties as required.

Pay Rate: $22.66- $38.74

Rate of pay may be adjusted based on the qualifications and experience of the candidate.
