You will work alongside some of the smartest minds in the industry who are excited to share their knowledge and to learn from you.Contract Duration: 3 MonthsRequired Skills & Experience6+ years of experience in Operational Risk Management, Compliance, Audit, or other control-related functions in the financial services industry.Understanding of compliance laws, rules, regulations, and best practices.Experience reviewing and reporting on risk processes and controlsStrong knowledge in the development and execution for controls.Experience with Risk modelsAbility to identify, measure, and manage key risks and controls.Proven experience in control related functions in the financial industry and implementing sustainable solutions and improving processes.Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.Strong analytical skills.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.Desired Skills & ExperienceProficiency in Business Intelligence Tooling: Tableau, Micro-Strategy would be a plus.What You Will Be DoingAssist with the Risk Compliance program, including the annual/semi-annual/quarterly/monthly attestation, quality oversight, and related reporting.Support the execution of the Risk & Controls Self-Assessment in accordance with the ORM Policy & Framework, as well as applicable Policies, Standards, and Procedures.Maintain tracking and reporting of Risk & Controls Self Assessment inventory including key metrics to provide visibility on the status of control gaps and quality control processesSupport reporting on quality control outcomes and control effectiveness to top management and relevant stakeholdersParticipate in the oversight of the operations, including coordinating meetings, managing agendas, and ensuring follow-up on action items.Monitor/test design assessment, and execution of monitoring/testing tools to assess the effectiveness of key controls.Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeContractJob functionAnalystIndustriesBanking, Investment Banking, and Financial Services #J-18808-Ljbffr
