Job Summary:

Interim HealthCare is seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) School Supervisor to join our team in Novi, MI. The RN School Supervisors main function is to oversee the care and coordination over a team of aides and nurses. This is a full-time, individual contributor role in the franchise industry. The RN School Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the care of students within the school setting, ensuring quality patient care and compliance with state and federal regulations. The ideal candidate will have prior nursing experience, strong leadership skills, and a passion for working with children. This position travels between the home, office, and schools in the Tri-County area.

Compensation & Benefits:

This position offers a competitive salary of $35 to $40 per hour, paid biweekly.

Responsibilities:

* Supervise and coordinate the care of students within the school setting
* Perform health assessments, develop care plans, and provide appropriate treatments and interventions as needed
* Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, school policies, and nursing standards
* Oversee medication administration and maintain accurate records
* Communicate with parents, school staff, and healthcare providers to coordinate care and provide updates on student health status
* Provide education and training to school staff on health-related topics
* Participate in meetings and committees related to student health and wellness
* Monitor and maintain inventory of medical supplies and equipment
* Maintain confidentiality of student information and adhere to regulations

Requirements:

* Valid RN license in the state of Michigan
* Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a school setting
* Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
* Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to pediatric healthcare
* Ability to work independently and make critical decisions in high-pressure situations
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Proficient in computer skills and electronic medical records
* Must pass a background check and drug screening
