Job Responsibilities:
- Disaster Recovery and High Availability skills with AWS needed
- Knowledge and experience with deploying and managing cloud solutions in AWS.
- Proficient in designing and supporting cloud environments, including IaaS and PaaS.
- Understanding of cloud automation and orchestration tools and techniques including Git & Azure DevOps.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Experience with one or more configuration management systems such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
- Automation of infrastructure as code using git, CI/CD pipelines, Ansible, Terraform.
- Troubleshooting and supporting containerization (Kubernetes, Docker)
- Ensuring efficient data storage and adherence to security policies
- Interacting with clients, providing cloud support, and making recommendations based on client needs
- Provide technical oversight, review and quality control throughout the life cycle of the implementations.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, or related area, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Preferably Certified AWS Certified Sysops Administrator
- 3+ years of relevant experience as a cloud engineer with following key skills:
- Disaster Recovery and High Availability skills with AWS needed
- Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation
- AWS Networking/ECS/EC2/Network/IAM, CLI, & best practices
- Devops practices and CI/CD Development
- Git based development
- Systems administration – Windows or Linux
Other Qualifications:
- Strong presentation and written communication skills.
- Work successfully as part of an onshore/offshore technical team to successfully implement the required solution "
