This new 80-bed, state-of-the-art facility will encompass more than 200,000 square feet, and open in late 2025, becoming a full-service hospital to serve the community of Minneola and surrounding areas. AdventHealth Minneola will include five new operating suites, cardiac catheterization labs, emergency care, critical care, full-service imaging, and outpatient lab services. Working at AdventHealth Minneola, you’ll be surrounded by a team dedicated to bringing exceptional mission-focused, faith-based care to residents and visitors of South Lake County. The role you’ll contribute: In partnership with executive leadership, diagnoses, translates, and defines current and future business needs into an overall integrated strategic HR plan for the facility aligned with long-term strategic initiatives of the region and organization. Leverages shared services partnerships to address facility issues. Drives strategic initiatives and objectives as a proactive and valued member of the executive leadership team. Responsible for facility HR oversight and serves as executive sponsor of regional talent strategies. Provides expert advice, influencing business decisions impacting all aspects of people management and leadership. Responsible for planning and approval of labor demand model, workforce, and strategic planning. Monitors internal metrics and external market developments to diagnose sources of current and potential retention challenges. Oversees and manages compliance efforts related to regulatory standards. Partners with executive leadership in the development of organizational development solutions. Oversees organization compensation strategies and leads local compensation strategies as appropriate. Develop and champion employee wellness programs aligned to organizational mission. Collaborates with facility executives to evaluate and lead a comprehensive strategy to engage, motivate, and retain employees. Reviews and benchmarks the internal and external environment to improve HR policies and initiatives. Maintains knowledge of progressive HR practices and key trends in talent. Serves as a strategic change agent, demonstrating the ability to influence and negotiate at all levels within the organization. Qualifications The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed: EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Advanced degree in HR, business or related field; or Bachelor's degree and program in progress upon hire to be completed within 2 years. Minimum of 7 years of progressive Human Resources Management experience; OR Graduate of the AHS Leadership Residency program; AND 3 years of progressive human resource management experience. LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED: Society for Human Resources Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP), or Professional in Human Resources (PHR), or Certified Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP), or equivalent within 6 months.
