City Experiences is seeking a Marketing Intern for our Puerto Rico Ferry operation in San Juan.

About You:

This person will be adaptable, dynamic, and embody City Experiences' RESPECT Service System.

About the Opportunity:

The Intern - Marketing reports to the Creative Producer and is responsible for assisting in the creation of corporate marketing materials.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Graphic design: Create striking visuals that align with the identity of our branding for ads, social media posts and more.
  • Assist in visual content design and planning for our social media platforms.
  • Design of posters and flyers: Create promotional materials for events, offers and Puerto Rico Ferry services.
  • Signage: Design signage for terminals and ships, ensuring that the information be clear and aesthetically pleasing.
  • Collaboration in special projects: Participate in special projects that can arise, providing creative and technical support.
  • Know and understand internal policy and external regulatory requirements that relate to your position and department.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements & Qualifications:
  • Problem solving-the individual identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner, gathers and analyzes information skillfully.
  • Communications - the individual must speak and write clearly to effectively share information.
  • Planning/organizing-the individual prioritizes and plans work activities and uses time efficiently.
  • Quality control-the individual demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness, monitors own work to ensure quality and applies feedback to improve performance.
  • Quantity-meets productivity standards and completes work in a timely manner.
  • Adaptability-the individual adapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events.
  • Dependability-the individual is consistently at work and on time, follows instructions, responds to management direction, and solicits feedback to improve performance.
  • Collecting, analyzing, interpreting, and evaluating varied information and data.
  • Proficient with graphic design programs and social media posting.
  • Setting priorities, coordinating multiple projects, and meeting deadlines.
  • Working cooperatively and effectively within a team and the larger organizational setting.
  • Working in fast-paced environment.
  • Friendly with a professional attitude, appearance, demeanor, and respectable confidence.
  • Bilingual, English speaking, reading, and writing.
