Job duties to include:
- Provide high quality patient care, displaying good skills in assessment of patients’ functional needs and outcomes; consulting with and participating as part of the patients’ treatment team.
- Assess patient needs regularly and assist in the developing and updating of the Master Treatment Plan.
- Work within a team environment to ensure that each treatment modality is appropriate for the patient.
- Arrange treatment and case management activities for the patient, which may include indidividual and group therapy, linkage with community services, and discharge planning.
- Conduct psychosocial assessment and information related to diagnosis/treatment experiences, age, developmental stage, lifestyle, traits/disorders and psychopathology.
- Communicate psychosocial impact of diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment interventions; ensures good clinical judgement to ensure optimum patient care and discharge planning.
- Deliver clinically sound individual, family, and group therapies within required time frames and establish therapeutic relationships with patients and families.
- Complete and maintain all required documentation in a timely manner consistent with policies and regulations.

Qualifications

Travel Therapist Job Requirements:
- Education: Master’s degree from an accreditated school in the Behavioral Sciences
- Experience: post Master's working experience including group therapy, case coordination activities, substance abuse, mental health and specific treatment related to patients in acute care and/or intensive outpatient settings

Travel Therapist Preferred Qualifications:
- Licensure/Certification: licensed in the state of Florida as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT
- Experience: working with children, adults, and aging populations
