Are you an accomplished leader with a passion for compassionate care? We are looking for a dynamic individual to take on the role of Executive Director in a hospice setting. This position offers a unique opportunity to drive the strategic vision and operational excellence of our hospice services, ensuring the highest quality of care and support for patients and their families. Key Responsibilities Lead the development and implementation of goals for hospice services, ensuring alignment with organizational mission and patient care standards. Oversee daily operations, including staff management, budget maintenance, and compliance with healthcare regulations at local, state, and federal levels. Recruit, hire, and mentor qualified staff, fostering a culture of excellence and compassion. Ensure effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to optimize patient care. Monitor hospice census and staffing patterns to ensure adequate resource allocation and service delivery. Manage financial operations, including budgeting, billing, and financial reporting. Lead quality improvement initiatives and ensure adherence to organizational policies and procedures. Qualifications Current RN license required, with a preference for candidates with executive director‑level hospice leadership experience. Minimum of three years in healthcare and five years in a leadership role, preferably within a hospice or similar setting. Proven business development and growth capabilities. Licensed physician, registered nurse, social worker, or a Bachelor's degree with at least three years of documented success in the relevant field. Current CPR certification required for those providing direct patient services. Valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to reliable transportation.
