Lakeside Foods is hiring a General Manager for our Belgium, Wisconsin facility – a high‑impact role responsible for leading plant and field operations, driving performance, and fostering a culture of excellence and safety. What You’ll Do: Lead and develop management teams across production, quality, maintenance, and supply chain. Oversee all aspects of the supply chain including warehouse operations, inventory control, shipping, receiving, and logistics coordination. Ensure strict compliance with company policies, government regulations, and food safety standards. Champion a proactive safety culture focused on both plant safety and employee well‑being, including oversight of safety training, audits, and incident prevention. Collaborate with corporate and regional leadership to align operations with strategic goals. Administer budgets and recommend capital improvements to enhance efficiency and safety. Support and enforce programs that maintain Lakeside’s reputation as a high‑quality, safe food producer. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field. 7+ years of experience in manufacturing or operations, with progressive leadership roles. 5+ years managing cross‑functional teams including production, quality, maintenance, and supply chain. Strong knowledge of plant operations, equipment, and safety protocols. Experience managing warehouse, shipping, and logistics functions. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
