BBAM is a leading player in commercial aircraft leasing, financing and management providing over 200 airline customers in more than 50 countries with fleet and financing solutions over its 30+ year history. In addition, BBAM provides asset management services to leasing companies, aviation investors and financial institutions covering more than 500 aircraft valued in excess of $18 billion and is registered with the SEC as a Registered Investment Advisor.


The work is day to day financial analyses in the structured/corporate finance industry related to approximately 450 Boeing and Airbus commercial jet aircraft on lease to airlines around the world. The     position will have day to day ownership of an asset backed securitization, a senior secured credit agreement, a term loan, an institutional limited partnership and/or revolving credit line with reporting on the associated pool of aircraft for that debt facility. The position involves preparing monthly and quarterly reports for the lenders and investors, which include debt, fee and waterfall calculations, interest and currency derivatives, and portfolio statistical data. In addition, the role may include purchase price calculations, floating rental calculations, borrowing requests, release requests, present value remarketing calculations, cash reconciliation, loan payoffs and Bloomberg data pulls. Training will be provided for the above job duties.


This is a hybrid full-time permanent position.


EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE/QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics or an analytics field 
  • At least 5 years of proven success in financial planning and analysis, accounting, investment banking, or a similar field
  • Exceptional ability to prioritize tasks, manage tight deadlines, and perform effectively under pressure, all while maintaining meticulous attention to detail
  • Experience with loan compliance and loan reporting. Experience working in private equity is a plus
  • Ability to interpret and comprehend complex contract documentation. Prior work with legal documents or banking compliance a plus
  • Familiarity with swap agreements and the capability to calculate various financial metrics with ease
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience maintaining and developing models and large datasets
  • Experience or familiarity with the aviation industry is a plus
  • Proficiency in Excel and able to quickly learn how to use other software and tools
